Our Forest (HessenForst)
The last few years have severely affected our forest - not just with droughts or bark beetles. The damage caused by climate change is clearly visible - beech, spruce and other deciduos tree species are suffering to an unkown extend and entire mountain ranges have been deforested. Our forests are threatened and with them its diverse recreational, useful and protective functions.
Society faces a major task. Hundreds of areas the size of soccer fields have to be replanted. Mixed tree species that are climate-stable and delight generations are best suited. That is why HessenForst has set itself the task of supplementing existing tree species wherever new trees are already growing and ensuring a balanced mix of tree species.
We support the Hessian forest with an earmarked donation. With our donation, the reforestation of the project areas "Our Forest" could be subsidized.
